These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Lingaly platform. By registering or using our service, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
"Lingaly" or "the Platform" refers to the web application and all its associated services. "User" refers to any person who registers and uses the Platform. "Service" refers to the exam preparation features provided by Lingaly, including exercises, corrections, and progress analytics.
2. Service description
Lingaly is a language exam preparation platform that uses artificial intelligence to personalize the learning experience. The service includes real exam-format exercises, automatic correction, progress tracking, and result prediction. Lingaly is not an official exam center and is not affiliated with Cambridge Assessment English.
3. Registration and accounts
To use Lingaly, you must create an account providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials. You may not share your account with third parties. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms.
4. Plans and payments
Lingaly offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account; cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods. A 7-day free trial is available for new users of paid plans.
5. Intellectual property
All content on Lingaly, including exercises, algorithms, design, text, and interfaces, is owned by Lingaly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the service in accordance with these terms. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of content without express authorization is prohibited.
6. User content
Responses, texts, and other content you generate while using Lingaly are your property. However, you grant us a limited license to process such content in order to provide you with the service (correction, analysis, personalization). We do not share your content with third parties except as indicated in our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
Lingaly is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that using the platform will result in passing any exam. Predictions generated by our AI engine are statistical estimates and do not constitute guarantees of results. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
You can cancel your account at any time from the settings. Lingaly may suspend or cancel a user's access in case of breach of these terms, abusive use of the service, or for legal reasons. In case of termination, the provisions of our Privacy Policy regarding data retention and deletion will apply.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any disputes, the parties submit to the courts of Madrid, without prejudice to the rights that may correspond to you as a consumer under applicable regulations.
